Certified Surgical Technologist - Per Diem - Faulkner
About The Position
The Certified Surgical Technologist works in the operating room at Brigham and Women’s Faulkner Hospital, preparing and maintaining the operating room environment and assisting with the peri-operative care of patients. The role works closely with surgeons and nurses to support the smooth and efficient operation of the operating room. The position requires a strong understanding of sterile techniques and the ability to work quickly and accurately in a fast-paced setting. The hospital describes its environment as fast-paced, energetic, collaborative, and innovative. The role is offered per diem and is part of a three-level surgical technologist career ladder.
Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Surgical Technician Certification.
- Basic Life Support (BLS) Certification.
- Certification of graduation from an ARC/STSA-accredited Surgical Technology Program.
- Basic computer skills.

- One year of Surgical Technician experience.
