About The Position
The Certified Surgical Technologist (CST) is an essential member of a high-performing surgical team, helping ensure patients receive safe, seamless, high-quality care. Working side-by-side with surgeons and nurses, the CST supports the smooth and efficient operation of the operating room and contributes to positive patient outcomes.
Requirements
- Graduate of an accredited Surgical Technology program.
- Current CST certification from NBSTSA.
- BLS Healthcare Provider certification.
Responsibilities
- Serve as the scrub technologist during surgical procedures.
- Set up and organize instruments, equipment, and supplies for the operating room.
- Help maintain a sterile, safe, and efficient surgical environment.
- Anticipate the needs of the surgical team to keep procedures flowing.
- Support patient safety, comfort, and positive outcomes throughout surgery.
