About The Position

The Certified Surgical Technologist will scrub independently for liver recipient transplants and support a range of surgical procedures. Transplant experience is required. The role is a weekend position, scheduled for three 12-hour shifts from 7:00 a.m. to 7:30 p.m., with 40–60 hours of call in a six-week schedule. The facility averages 35 surgical cases per day across 22 rooms. Local candidates are accepted.

Requirements

• Minimum of 2 years of experience.
• Transplant experience is required.
• Required certifications: BCLS and NBSTSA.
• Demonstrated skill in scrubbing and aseptic technique.
• Availability for a weekend schedule of three 12-hour shifts from 7:00 a.m. to 7:30 p.m.
• Availability for 40–60 hours of call in a six-week schedule.

Responsibilities

• Scrub independently for liver recipient transplants.
• Scrub large open belly cases and procedures in general surgery, urology, thoracic surgery, gynecology, plastics, Whipple, liver resection, liver transplant, and free flap.
