Certified Surgical Technologist - CST
About The Position
The Certified Surgical Technologist works in a seven-suite operating room performing scrub duties for approximately 18–20 cases per day. Common cases include laparoscopic, bariatric, orthopedic, neurological, urological, gynecological, and ENT procedures. The role uses Cerner and includes floor-specific orientation. Floating is limited to pre-op and post-op areas. Shifts vary between 8 and 10 hours. CSTs are required to take call, including some nights and weekends, one week of night call per week, and two 12-hour weekend call shifts per month. The call response time is 30 minutes. Holiday work is required. Scrub attire is provided.
Requirements
- CST certification is preferred for surgical technologists.
- Scrubbing is required for CSTs.
- Must meet a 30-minute call response time.
- Must work holidays.
Responsibilities
