About The Position
Brigham and Women's Faulkner Hospital, an affiliate of Mass General Brigham, is seeking a Certified Surgical Technologist to join their team. This is a 40-hour rotating position with a $10,000 sign-on bonus. The hospital is Magnet Designated with Distinction and features 16 ORs where approximately 1,000 cases are performed monthly. The role involves functioning as a scrub person during operative and other invasive procedures, participating in ongoing educational and competency activities, and precepting staff. Requirements
- High School Diploma or equivalent required
- Surgical Technician Certification required
- Basic Life Support (BLS) Certification required
- Must present and submit Certification of Graduation, as follows: - ARC/STSA-Accredited Surgical Technology Program - NBSTSA- Certification is conferred by the National Board of Surgical Technology and Surgical Assisting
- Staff adheres to all I.C.A.R.E. Standards
- Basic computer skills
Nice To Haves
- 1 year of Surgical Technician experience preferred
Responsibilities
