About The Position

Emplify Health is seeking a skilled and dedicated Certified Surgical Tech to join its team at Palmer - West Union. The role primarily performs scrub duties, preparing, selecting, and maintaining equipment, instruments, and supplies. The position is part-time, with 32 scheduled hours per week, and is eligible for full-time benefits. The schedule is Monday through Friday, typically starting between 6:30 and 7:00 a.m., with 8-hour shifts and an on-call rotation.

Requirements

• Graduate from an accredited surgical tech program.
• Obtain Certified Surgical Technologist (CST) certification within two years of the hire date; certification is not needed until two years after the start date.
• Current Infant-Adult Basic Life Support for Health Care Providers certification, including hands-on learning, from the American Heart Association or American Red Cross.

Responsibilities

• Assist the physician as the scrub person according to prescribed standards.
• Assist the RN in performing circulating duties as directed.
• Primarily perform in the scrub role, preparing, selecting, and maintaining equipment, instruments, and supplies.
