Certified Surgical Tech (Full-time)
About The Position
Emplify Health is seeking a skilled and dedicated Certified Surgical Tech to join their Main OR team in La Crosse, WI. This is a full-time position with 36 hours per week, primarily working 9-hour shifts on weekdays in the Main OR. The role involves night and weekend call rotation with a response time of 60 minutes or less, and holiday rotation of 1-2 holidays per year. The Certified Surgical Tech will assist the physician as a scrub person according to prescribed standards, assist the RN in performing circulating duties as directed, and primarily perform in the scrub role, preparing, selecting, and maintaining equipment, instruments, and supplies.
Requirements
- Graduate from an accredited surgical tech program
- Certified Surgical Technologist (CST) certification within 2 years of hire date.
- Current Infant-Adult Basic Life Support for Health Care Providers (with hands on learning) from one of the following programs; American Heart Association or American Red Cross.
Responsibilities
