About The Position

At Maple Lawn Surgery Center, the Certified Surgical Tech scrubs for surgical procedures and assists with sterile processing by decontaminating, processing, and sterilizing surgical instruments and medical equipment. The role maintains a sterile field during procedures and prepares related supplies, instruments, and equipment. The Surgical Tech also supports the Surgery Center’s philosophy, objectives, and goals. Surgical Tech experience is required.

Requirements

• Surgical Tech experience is required.
• High school diploma/GED and completion of a Surgical Technician Program, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Certification as required by the state and/or center.
• Strong knowledge of surgical procedures and management of the surgical patient.
• Understanding of aseptic techniques and their implementation.
• Ability to quickly adapt to changing patient conditions.
• Strong teamwork and communication skills to collaborate with staff, engage with patients, and coordinate with physicians.

Nice To Haves

• Previous experience in an ambulatory surgical center is strongly preferred.
