About The Position

TriStar Centennial Medical Center, part of HCA Healthcare, is seeking a Certified Sterile Processing Technician to support patient safety and surgical care. The technician ensures surgical instruments and supplies are clean, prepared, complete, and ready when needed, supporting surgical staff and infection prevention.

Requirements

• Hold one of the following certifications: Certified Registered Central Service Technician (CRCST), Certified Surgical Technologist (CST), or Certified Sterile Processing and Distribution Technician (CSPDT).
• No experience required.
• No travel required.

Responsibilities

• Clean, inspect, assemble, and sterilize surgical instruments and trays; ensure they are sterile, complete, labeled, and ready for use.
• Manage sterilization equipment and maintain accurate records to support patient safety and infection prevention.
• Prepare customized surgical sets and case carts based on daily schedules and procedure needs.
• Manage inventory and supplies in operating room storage and specialty lockers, coordinating with the surgical team.
• Respond promptly to instrument requests during surgeries and help resolve urgent equipment needs.
