About The Position
Join SVMC's Sterile Processing team as a full-time sterile processing technician. The role is responsible for cleaning, disinfecting, and sterilizing a variety of equipment and instruments for SVMC's Perioperative department. On-the-job training is available, making this position suitable for candidates beginning a healthcare career. The role is suited to someone with strong attention to detail who can multitask and is willing to continue their education.
Requirements
- A valid Sterile Processing certification must be obtained within 12 months of hire.
- Strong attention to detail.
- Ability to multitask.
- Willingness to continue education.
Nice To Haves
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
- Prior cleaning experience preferred.
