About The Position
This is a Locum Tenens position for a Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetist (CRNA) specializing in General anesthesia. The role is based in Greensboro, NC, within a hospital setting. The coverage period is from August 17, 2026, to February 15, 2027, with a clinical shift schedule of 7 AM to 3 PM. The CRNA will provide anesthesia services under medical direction at Moses Cone Hospital and may need to float to the Moses Cone main location. The position involves managing anesthesia for a high volume of cases (60+ per day) across various specialties and patient ages, utilizing EPIC EMR and specific anesthesia equipment.
Requirements
- Active North Carolina license or Compact license
- Board Certified CRNA
- ACLS certification
- PALS certification
- Minimum 1-2 years of experience (No new graduates)
- Must be able to float to Moses Cone main location
Responsibilities
- Provide anesthesia services under medical direction at Moses Cone Hospital
- Float to Moses Cone main location as needed
- Manage anesthesia for cases across 20 operating rooms and 5 NORA locations
- Utilize EPIC EMR and Drager anesthesia machines with Philips monitoring
- Cover 4-5 shifts per month, handling 60+ cases per day across all patient ages
