About The Position

This is a Locum Tenens position for a Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetist (CRNA) specializing in General Anesthesia at a Level I Trauma hospital in York, PA. The role involves providing comprehensive anesthesia care across a wide range of surgical services, including trauma, neuro/spine, cardiac, thoracic, vascular, OB/GYN, general surgery, GI, pediatrics, plastics, ortho, and robotics. The CRNA will administer general, regional, and monitored anesthesia care, perform epidurals independently, and utilize ultrasound-guided techniques. The position requires collaboration with anesthesiologists, surgeons, and the care team. The service setting is a hospital with 593 beds, and the EMR system used is Epic. Temporary privileges are available for clean files, with a credentialing timeline of 90 days.

Requirements

• Active PA license
• Board Certified CRNA
• ACLS certification
• PALS certification

Nice To Haves

• 2 years of CRNA experience preferred

Responsibilities

• Provide anesthesia care under medical direction (1:3 or 1:4 ratio)
• Administer general, regional, and monitored anesthesia care (GETA, MAC, Regional, Spinal)
• Perform epidurals independently without physician present
• Utilize ultrasound-guided techniques for regional anesthesia
• Collaborate with anesthesiologists, surgeons, and care team across diverse surgical services
