About The Position
We are seeking a Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetist (CRNA) for a Locum Tenens position in Pittsfield, Massachusetts. This role involves providing anesthesia services in the Main OR and Endoscopy suites, managing an average daily volume of 3-5 Main OR cases and 12-15 Endo cases. The case mix includes general adult/pediatric surgery, obstetrics, neurosurgery, and regional anesthesia. The facility is a Level III Trauma Center utilizing the Meditech Expanse EMR system, with collaborative OR staff available. The coverage period is from August 01, 2026, to February 01, 2027, with a shift schedule of days, 8-hour shifts, and a guaranteed 32 hours per week. Travel, lodging, and malpractice insurance are covered.
Requirements
- Board Certified (AANA) - Required
- Active MA License or willing to obtain
- ACLS, BLS - Required
- Minimum 2 years experience (new grads accepted)
Responsibilities
- Provide anesthesia services in Main OR and Endoscopy suites
- Manage 3-5 surgical cases and 12-15 endoscopy cases per day
- Perform general, regional, spinal, epidural, IV regional anesthesia and obstetrical/neurosurgical cases
- Collaborate with a multidisciplinary OR team in a supervised setting
- Ensure accurate documentation in Meditech Expanse EMR
