About The Position
The Certified Registered Central Service Technician (CRCST) will be responsible for performing assembly, decontamination, and sterilization of operating room instrumentation. This role involves utilizing ultrasonic cleaning, decontamination processes, and assembly techniques. The technician will also load and operate sterilizing equipment, including VPRO systems, and maintain compliance with safety and sanitation protocols.
Requirements
- 1 year of Sterile Processing Department (SPD) experience
- BLS (Basic Life Support) - AHA
- Certified Registered Central Service Technician (CRCST) verification
- Certified Board for Sterile Processing and Distribution (CBSPD)
