About The Position

Chimes-Holcomb is hiring a bilingual Certified Recovery Specialist for its COPE/Warm Handoff program in Chester County, Pennsylvania. The role provides compassionate, recovery-oriented support to people experiencing substance use challenges, including overdose survivors. The specialist helps individuals connect with treatment and recovery resources, pursue their goals, and build independence. The position is on-call/PRN and pays $21.63 per hour.

Requirements

• Bilingual proficiency in Spanish and English.
• An associate’s degree and one year of human services experience, or equivalent training and experience.
• Strong communication, teamwork, and advocacy skills.
• A compassionate, flexible approach and knowledge of recovery-oriented support.
• A valid driver’s license.
• Ability to complete required background clearances and Medicaid/Medicare exclusion verification.

Responsibilities

• Engage individuals and connect them with treatment and recovery support services.
• Provide individualized, recovery-oriented support based on each person’s needs and goals.
• Advocate for individuals and help them navigate services and community resources.
• Offer recovery education and support to individuals and families.
• Respond appropriately to crises and collaborate with the program coordinator and care team.
• Maintain timely, accurate documentation and billable service records.
• Work independently and remain flexible to meet program needs.
