About The Position

This role involves providing pharmacy services in a unique retail pharmacy setting within a hospital. The ideal candidate will serve both hospital discharge patients (meds to beds) and regular customers, utilizing excellent customer service skills. The pharmacy operates with current business hours of M-F, 8:30 am-5 pm (closed for lunch), Saturdays 10 am-4 pm (with weekend rotation), and is closed on major holidays. Requirements

  • High School Degree or GED
  • Valid ExCPT Certification provided by the National Health Career Association or Pharmacy Technician Certification Board (PTCB) certification and registration with State Board of Pharmacy
  • Ability to be proactive in a rapidly changing environment
  • Engage with staff and patients in a professional manner
  • Possesses problem-solving skills with excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Requires knowledge of pharmacy terminology, medication names, and aseptic technique

Nice To Haves

  • Previous experience working in Retail, Ambulatory, Outpatient, Hospital, Acute Care, or Home Infusion Pharmacy
