About The Position
The Certified OR Tech / Surgical Tech (CST) works in Surgical Services at a short-term acute care facility. This travel role does not float between units and has an expected 1:1 ratio. The position requires weekday call for 16 hours every four weeks and weekend call for 24 hours every four weeks. Weekend shifts may be required in place of weekday shifts as needed by department needs. The facility has 418 staffed beds and uses Epic for charting. OR/L&D scrubs are provided; other scrub and attire guidance varies by area.
Requirements
- Certified Surgical Technologist (CST) certification through NBSTSA.
- Travel experience.
Responsibilities
- Provide surgical technology services in Surgical Services.
- Participate in weekday call for 16 hours every four weeks.
- Participate in weekend call for 24 hours every four weeks.
- Work weekend shifts in lieu of weekday shifts as needed for department needs.
