About The Position

Vibra Hospital of Denver is seeking a Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant to provide and direct Occupational Therapy Services to patients, including assessment, treatment, program planning and implementation, related documentation, and communication. The position functions under physician’s orders. The hospital is a 54-bed critical care hospital in Thornton, Colorado, providing acute care to patients recovering from serious illnesses or injuries, including medically complex conditions such as trauma, infectious diseases, wound healing, cardiovascular disease, stroke, amputation, and ventilator weaning.

Requirements

• Associate’s Degree in Occupational Therapy.
• Successful completion of the National Certification Examination for COTA.
• Current, valid, and active license to practice as a Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant in the state of employment.
• Current BLS certification from a Vibra-approved vendor.
• Ability to project a professional image.
• Knowledge of regulatory standards and compliance requirements.
• Strong organizational, prioritizing, and analytical skills.
• Ability to make independent decisions when circumstances warrant.
• Working knowledge of computer and software applications used in job functions.
• Freedom from illegal use of and effects of use of drugs and alcohol in the workplace.

Nice To Haves

• One year of experience preferred.
