About The Position
Absolute Rehabilitation and Consulting is hiring a PRN Occupational Therapy Assistant to provide patient-centered rehabilitation services at Altercare Cuyahoga Falls in Cuyahoga Falls, Ohio. The role supports patients in improving their ability to perform daily tasks by carrying out treatment plans designed by an Occupational Therapist. The assistant also helps create a supportive, engaging therapy environment and shares observations about patient progress with the supervising Occupational Therapist.
Responsibilities
- Carry out treatment plans designed by the Occupational Therapist, focusing on improving patients’ ability to perform daily tasks.
- Assist patients with therapeutic activities, including exercises, cognitive training, and use of adaptive equipment.
- Monitor patient progress and provide feedback to the supervising Occupational Therapist for plan adjustments.
- Foster a supportive and engaging environment to encourage patients' participation in therapy.
