About The Position
Life Enriching Communities is seeking a Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant to support residents in its senior living community at Wesley Ridge. This is an as-needed PRN role on the in-house team, supporting residents as they work toward greater independence. The position calls for patience, compassion, adaptability, attention to detail, and a collaborative spirit. The organization is a not-for-profit provider of senior living communities guided by respect, innovation, spirituality, and excellence.
Requirements
- Graduate of an accredited Occupational Therapy Assistant program.
- Current Occupational Therapy Assistant license in Ohio.
- Ability to pass a pre-employment background check.
- Ability to pass a pre-employment drug screen.
Nice To Haves
- 1–2 years of related experience preferred.
Responsibilities
- Complete and maintain patient records, including evaluating and documenting resident progress.
- Plan, organize, and conduct occupational therapy progress.
- Test and evaluate residents’ physical and mental abilities and analyze medical data to determine realistic rehabilitation goals.
- Plan and implement programs and social activities to help residents learn skills and adjust to handicaps.
