About The Position

The Asst-Occupational Therapy Assistant under the direction of an occupational therapist, provides skilled occupational therapy to patients/clients with a wide variety of diagnoses and disabilities, taking into account individual patient's special physical or age-related needs. Requires skills in patient/client treatment, as well as professional consultations to achieve maximum patient/client independence in accordance with individual's functional level and potential. Requirements

  • Degree from an accredited Occupational Therapy Assistant Program.
  • May require specialized OTA training to meet a particular department need, or equivalent educ/experience
  • Upon hire: Oregon Occupational Therapist Assistant License
  • Upon hire: National Provider BLS - American Heart Association
  • Upon hire: In compliance with company policy and state regulations, a Department of Human Services (DHS) criminal background check is required for this position (PL 612 and 580 only).
