About The Position

BAYADA Home Health Care has an immediate opening for a per-diem to part-time Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA). The role provides home health visits through the Columbia Visits Office in Columbia, South Carolina, covering Richland and Lexington counties. As an integral member of a multidisciplinary health care team, the COTA provides rehabilitative care to clients, helping them receive the medical care needed to remain at home. BAYADA’s purpose is to help people of all ages have a safe home life with comfort, independence, and dignity. Requirements

Be licensed as an Occupational Therapy Assistant in the state of South Carolina.
Be willing to travel in the assigned territory.
Have graduated from an occupational therapy curriculum accredited jointly by the Committee on Allied Health Education and Accreditation of the AMA and the AOTA, as indicated by a school transcript or diploma; alternatively, for initial qualification before December 31, 1977, have two years of appropriate experience as an Occupational Therapy Assistant and a satisfactory grade on a proficiency exam conducted, approved, or sponsored by the U.S. Public Health Service.
Have at least one year of work experience under the supervision of a qualified Occupational Therapist.
