Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant, Home Health COTA
About The Position
BAYADA Home Health Care is hiring a Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA) to provide home health care visits for clients throughout the Green Valley and South Tucson area. The role is offered as a part-time or full-time opportunity. The COTA is an integral member of a multidisciplinary health care team providing rehabilitative care and skilled nursing to clients, helping them receive the medical care they need to remain at home. Requirements
- Be licensed as an Occupational Therapist Assistant by the state of Arizona.
- Be willing to travel in the assigned territory.
- Have graduated from an occupational therapy curriculum accredited jointly by the Committee on Allied Health Education and Accreditation of the AMA and the AOTA, as indicated by a school transcript or diploma; or, if initial qualification occurred before December 31, 1977, have two years of appropriate experience as an Occupational Therapy Assistant and a satisfactory grade on a proficiency exam conducted, approved, or sponsored by the U.S. Public Health Service.
- Have at least one year of work experience under the supervision of a qualified Occupational Therapist.
Responsibilities
- Provide home health care visits to clients throughout the Green Valley and South Tucson area.
- Participate as an integral member of a multidisciplinary health care team providing rehabilitative care and skilled nursing to clients.
- Help clients receive the medical care required to remain at home.
