About The Position

PruittHealth is seeking a licensed Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA) to help patients improve functional abilities, increase independence with daily activities, and enhance quality of life. The role is based at 5530 Norththrop Road in Milton, Florida, and is scheduled PRN. Compensation is up to $100,000 annually, based on experience, schedule, and location. The position supports post-acute care, skilled nursing, rehabilitation, and therapy services in a collaborative environment focused on clinical excellence and patient outcomes. The COTA implements occupational therapy treatment plans under the supervision of an Occupational Therapist, assists patients with daily activities and functional tasks, and guides therapeutic exercises and activities. The role also includes documenting care, communicating patient progress, educating patients and caregivers, and supporting interdisciplinary care planning.

Requirements

Associate degree from an accredited OTA program.
Current Occupational Therapy Assistant license in the state of practice.
Strong communication and teamwork skills.
Foreign-trained applicants must possess credentials deemed substantially equivalent by the applicable credentialing organization.

Experience in rehabilitation or post-acute care preferred.

Responsibilities

Implement occupational therapy treatment plans under Occupational Therapist supervision.
