About The Position

Functional Pathways is hiring a full-time Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA) to join the therapy team at The Neighborhood at Rio Rancho in Rio Rancho, New Mexico. The community offers Independent Living, Assisted Living, Skilled Nursing, and Memory Support. The COTA implements the plan of care established by the OTR/L and physician, delivering high-quality care as part of a team focused on residents’ well-being and rehabilitation. Direct applicants are eligible for a $5,000 sign-on bonus.

Requirements

• Associate degree from an accredited Occupational Therapy Assistant program.
• Certification and licensure as established by state and national board associations.
• Active state license.
• Excellent organizational and time-management skills.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Current working knowledge of Functional Pathways policies and procedures.
• Complete all required screenings, certifications, and licensure requirements; screening requirements may vary by location.

Responsibilities

• Implement the plan of care established by the OTR/L and physician.
• Deliver quality care to residents.
