About The Position
Peninsula Post-Acute is seeking compassionate and dependable Certified Nursing Assistants to join its nursing team in Burlingame, California. The role provides resident-centered care in a supportive, team-focused skilled nursing and rehabilitation environment. Full-time opportunities are available on PM and NOC shifts, on a consistent four-on, two-off rotation.
Requirements
- Active California CNA certification.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Compassionate, dependable, and team-oriented.
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced healthcare environment.
Nice To Haves
- Minimum of 2 years of CNA experience preferred.
- Skilled nursing, post-acute, or long-term care experience preferred.
Responsibilities
- Assist residents with activities of daily living, including personal care, grooming, mobility, and dining.
- Promote resident comfort, dignity, safety, and independence.
- Assist with repositioning, transfers, and restorative nursing programs.
- Observe and report changes in resident condition to nursing staff.
- Follow individualized care plans to support resident well-being.
- Communicate effectively with residents, families, nurses, and interdisciplinary team members.
- Support positive resident outcomes through teamwork and collaboration.
- Complete accurate charting and documentation in a timely manner.
- Maintain a professional, respectful, and resident-centered environment.
- Follow facility policies, safety procedures, and infection control practices.
- Maintain resident confidentiality and HIPAA compliance.
- Demonstrate reliability, accountability, and professionalism.
- Support the facility's mission of providing skilled nursing and rehabilitation services.
