About The Position

Signature HealthCARE at North Hardin Rehab & Wellness Center is a 164-bed facility providing services ranging from short-term rehabilitation to traditional long-term care. The organization’s mission is to provide resident-centered healthcare, personalized spirituality, and quality-of-life initiatives. Signature HealthCARE is a family-based healthcare company offering integrated services across multiple states, including skilled nursing, rehabilitation, assisted and memory care, and home-based services supported by technologies such as telehealth and Care.ai-enabled solutions. The Certified Nursing Assistant provides direct resident care under the supervision of licensed nursing personnel and helps maintain a compassionate physical and psychosocial environment. The role is an 8-hour overnight shift from 11 PM to 7 AM, with a weekend rotation. Benefits begin in 30 days. The listed pay is up to $25.44 per hour.

Requirements

Hold a current, active Nursing Assistant certification from the state in which the facility operates.
Have effective verbal and written communication skills.
Be able to work collaboratively within a nursing team and under the direction of licensed nursing staff.
Be customer-service oriented and able to work well under pressure.
Be approachable, flexible, and adaptable to change.
Be able to function independently and demonstrate flexibility, personal integrity, and the ability to work effectively with stakeholders and vendors.

Responsibilities

Perform direct resident care duties under the supervision of licensed nursing personnel and help promote a compassionate physical and psychosocial environment.
Provide activities of daily living within the scope of practice defined by state regulation and each resident’s plan of care.
Change bed linen and maintain appropriate grooming supplies in residents’ rooms.
Ambulate and transfer residents using appropriate assistive devices and body mechanics.
Record resident vital signs, weights and measurements, intake and output, food consumption, and other assigned information.
Routinely turn and position residents as necessary.
Recognize and support resident rights and choices within the care environment.
Maintain established housekeeping standards within assigned duty areas.
Promptly answer call lights and assist with resident needs.
Assist with orientation and training of other staff as requested.
Perform other assigned special projects and duties.
