About The Position
Navitas Healthcare, LLC is seeking a Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) to provide direct resident care in a long-term care facility. The CNA will support residents with daily living activities while ensuring safety, comfort, and quality care in accordance with facility policies.
Requirements
- Active Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) certification
- Current BLS certification required
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy
- Ability to provide compassionate patient care
Nice To Haves
- 1+ year experience preferred in long-term care or similar setting
Responsibilities
- Assist residents with activities of daily living (ADLs) including bathing, grooming, toileting, and transferring
- Respond to call lights promptly
- Monitor and record vital signs, weights, and resident condition changes
- Report any changes in condition to nursing staff
- Maintain resident safety, comfort, and dignity
- Report any concerns of abuse, neglect, or misappropriation immediately
- Support overall resident care needs as assigned
- Follow all facility policies and infection control standards
