About The Position
Certified Nursing Assistants at Willowdale Village help foster a warm, supportive, and homelike environment where residents’ well-being is prioritized. The CNA assists residents with activities of daily living, provides companionship and reassurance, and supports each resident with dignity, respect, and individualized attention. This is a weekend option day-shift opportunity.
Requirements
- Hold a valid, current Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) certification in Indiana.
- Be able to perform physical tasks, including lifting, bending, and assisting with resident mobility.
- Have a strong passion for geriatric nursing and a commitment to senior care excellence.
- Demonstrate supportive presence, physical stamina, collaboration, teamwork, and interpersonal communication.
Responsibilities
- Assist residents with activities of daily living.
- Provide companionship and reassurance to residents.
- Help create a comforting, engaging, and homelike environment.
- Assist residents with mobility and other physical tasks.
- Coordinate care with nursing staff and other facility teams.
- Demonstrate Compassion, Accountability, Relationships, and Excellence in interactions with residents, family members, customers, and staff.
