CNA Assisted Living Weekend Option
About The Position
American Senior Communities is seeking a Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) for assisted living at Rosegate Commons. This full-time Weekend Option position is on the evening shift and includes working every other weekend. CNAs help create a warm, supportive, homelike environment where residents’ well-being, dignity, respect, and individualized attention are prioritized. The role includes assisting residents with activities of daily living, providing companionship and reassurance, and supporting nursing services. Team members are expected to demonstrate the C.A.R.E. values: Compassion, Accountability, Relationships, and Excellence.
Requirements
- Hold a valid, current Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) certification in Indiana.
- Be able to perform physical tasks, including lifting, bending, and assisting with resident mobility.
- Have the stamina, strength, and endurance needed to provide nursing services.
- Demonstrate a strong passion for geriatric nursing and a commitment to senior care excellence.
- Demonstrate supportive presence, teamwork, collaboration, and interpersonal communication skills.
- Demonstrate the C.A.R.E. values: Compassion, Accountability, Relationships, and Excellence.
Responsibilities
- Assist residents with activities of daily living.
- Provide companionship and reassurance to residents.
- Provide nursing services and assist with resident mobility.
- Help create a comforting, engaging, and homelike environment that respects residents’ dignity and individual needs.
- Collaborate with nursing and other facility teams to provide coordinated, comprehensive care.
- Contribute to a respectful, positive work environment and work toward excellent resident care.
