About The Position
Galleria Woods Senior Living is hiring compassionate and dependable Certified Nursing Assistants to join its Skilled Nursing team in Hoover, Alabama. The role is on a 30-bed Skilled Nursing Unit with low resident-to-staff ratios, intended to support personalized care and meaningful relationships with residents. The position is PRN/per diem, with night shifts from 7:00 p.m. to 7:00 a.m. Pay is $16.00–$18.50 per hour, based on experience. CNAs help enhance residents’ quality of life by providing personal care, supporting daily activities and independence, and reporting changes in residents’ conditions. Requirements
- Current Alabama CNA certification.
- Compassion for seniors and a commitment to exceptional care.
- Reliable attendance and a strong work ethic.
- Ability to pass required background screening and drug testing.
Nice To Haves
- CPR and First Aid certification preferred.
- At least one year of CNA experience preferred.
Responsibilities
- Assist residents with activities of daily living, including bathing, dressing, grooming, and personal care.
- Help residents with meals, mobility, and transportation to activities.
- Monitor and report changes in residents’ condition, behavior, or eating habits.
- Support resident independence, dignity, and comfort.
- Provide care that meets company, state, and federal standards.
