About The Position

Under the direction and supervision of an RN or LPN, the Certified Nurses' Aide performs resident care activities and related non-professional duties to meet the specific needs and comfort of older adults and others who need assistance. The aide helps residents with activities of daily living and provides support with meals and transfers, following individual service plans. The role also promotes quality services in accordance with company, state, and federal regulations.

Requirements

• Current New York State Certified Nursing Assistant credential.
• High school diploma or GED.

Responsibilities

• Assist residents with activities of daily living, including bathing, dressing, grooming, and toileting.
• Transfer residents to and from activities and meals according to their individual service plans.
• Serve meals to residents in the dining room or their apartments.
• Record and report changes in residents' eating habits to a supervisor.
• Promote quality services within company, state, and federal regulations.
