About The Position

Otterbein is seeking a compassionate, skilled part-time Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA/STNA) for night shifts in a skilled nursing setting. Working 12-hour shifts from 7:00 p.m. to 7:30 a.m., including every other weekend and holiday, the CNA/STNA supports residents’ independence and provides high-quality, person-centered care that respects residents’ choices. The role provides assistance with daily activities and support services under the supervision of a nurse, while helping residents feel comfortable and as independent as possible. Starting pay is $18.50 per hour and increases with experience. Shift differentials are $3.00 per hour for hours worked from 3:00 p.m. to 11:00 p.m. and $1.50 per hour for hours worked from 11:00 p.m. to 7:00 a.m. DailyPay is available.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA/STNA) certification required in the State of Ohio.
• Pass the state test and be listed on the Nurse Aide Registry.
• Good documentation, communication, and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to use proper lift technique and lift equipment to move, lift, and transfer residents.

Responsibilities

• Assist residents with day-to-day tasks, including bathing, eating, ambulation, and hair care.
• Provide a wide range of support services under the supervision of a nurse.
• Help residents feel comfortable and as independent as possible in their daily lives.
• Complete care documentation accurately, efficiently, and on time.
• Perform other duties as needed or assigned.
