Certified Nursing Assistant - CNA/STNA
About The Position
Otterbein SeniorLife is seeking a compassionate Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA/STNA) to provide person-centered care in its Marblehead senior care community. The community includes independent living, assisted living, and nursing care homes. The role supports residents with daily living tasks, helps them remain comfortable and as independent as possible, and provides care under the supervision of a nurse. The position is available as full-time, part-time, or PRN. Starting pay is $18.50 and increases with experience; second shift receives a $3.00 differential and third shift receives a $1.50 differential.
Requirements
- Current Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA/STNA) certification in the State of Ohio.
- Pass the state test and be listed on the Nurse Aide Registry.
- Good documentation, communication, and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to use proper lifting techniques and lift equipment to move, lift, and transfer residents.
Responsibilities
- Assist residents with day-to-day tasks, including bathing, eating, ambulating, and hair care.
- Provide support services under the supervision of a nurse.
- Help residents feel comfortable and as independent as possible while carrying out daily activities.
- Document care accurately, efficiently, and on time.
- Perform other duties as needs arise or are assigned.
