About The Position
Otterbein Green Hills is seeking a skilled, compassionate Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA/STNA) to provide person-centered care in its senior living community in West Liberty, Ohio. The role supports residents with daily activities and provides support services under a nurse’s supervision, helping residents remain comfortable and as independent as possible. The position is offered part-time, full-time, or PRN, with several shift options. Otterbein offers to pay for nursing assistant training, class and application fees, the Ohio State test fee, and training materials for those seeking certification through its partner schools and training facilities.
Requirements
- Active Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA/STNA) certification in the State of Ohio, with applicants required to pass the state test and be listed on the Ohio Nurse Aide Registry.
- Good documentation, communication, and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to use proper lift techniques and lift equipment to move, lift, and transfer residents.
Responsibilities
- Assist residents with day-to-day tasks such as bathing, eating, ambulating, and hair care.
- Provide a wide range of support services under the supervision of a nurse.
- Help residents feel comfortable and as independent as possible in their daily lives.
- Complete accurate, efficient, and timely care documentation.
- Perform other duties as needs arise or are assigned.
