About The Position
St. Dominic Villa, an Illuminus Community in Hazel Green, Wisconsin, provides long-term skilled nursing and short-term rehabilitation services for older adults. The Certified Nursing Assistant provides person-centered support to residents and helps create a warm, supportive community. The role may include 8-hour shifts and weekend rotation as scheduled; shift availability varies with community needs. Full-time, part-time, and PRN opportunities are offered. CNA nursing students may have the opportunity to work as a Medication Administration Aide (MAA), gaining experience in medication administration while continuing their nursing education. Pay is $19.30–$24.00 per hour, based on experience. Benefits may vary based on employment status.
Requirements
- Be at least 16 years of age.
- Hold active CNA certification on the Wisconsin Nurse Aide Registry.
- Hold current CPR certification.
Responsibilities
- Provide person-centered assistance with activities of daily living, including bathing, hygiene, dressing, toileting, mobility, meals, and room preparation, according to the care plan.
- Monitor residents’ condition, respond promptly to their needs, report changes or incidents to the licensed nurse, and accurately document care each shift.
- Promote dignity, respect, resident rights, and effective communication.
- Follow safety, infection prevention, universal precautions, body mechanics, and equipment-use standards.
- Participate in meetings, training, continuing education, on-call duties, and other assigned responsibilities.
