About The Position
Baptist Health is hiring a Certified Nursing Assistant for its Med/Surg Unit at Baptist Medical Center Jacksonville in downtown Jacksonville, Florida. This is a full-time day position scheduled from 7:00 AM to 7:00 PM. The CNA works under the supervision of a Registered Nurse and provides patient care in a fast-paced environment, with a focus on quality care. A sign-on bonus of up to $500 is offered for full-time day CNAs.
Requirements
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification is required.
- Licensed Certified Nursing Assistant credential is required.
Nice To Haves
- High school diploma or GED preferred.
Responsibilities
- Assist patients with activities of daily living.
- Maintain a safe environment for patients.
- Collect laboratory specimens.
- Monitor patient intake and output.
- Document in the electronic medical record (EMR).
- Perform other duties and responsibilities as assigned.
