Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA)
About The Position
Elite Care Management, Inc. is seeking compassionate and dedicated Certified Nursing Assistants to join its healthcare team. The company provides private-duty health care and describes itself as a leading provider for over 25 years. CNAs work with one patient for the complete shift, becoming familiar with the patient, their needs, and their family life. The role involves assisting with daily living activities, supporting comfort and overall well-being, and helping enhance patients’ quality of life. Full-time and part-time shifts are available, including 7 a.m.–7 p.m. and 7 p.m.–7 a.m. shifts on various weekdays and weekends. The listed pay range is $20–$22 per hour.
Requirements
- Driver’s license.
- Social Security card.
- Auto insurance card.
- Current CPR card.
- CNA state certification.
- TB test results: a two-step test or chest X-ray within the last 12 months, or QuantiFERON Gold blood work within the last 5 years.
Responsibilities
- Maintain records of patient care, condition, progress, or problems, and report and discuss observations with a supervisor or case manager.
- Assist patients with lifting and transferring to support mobility.
- Assist patients with activities of daily living, including bathing, dressing, grooming, and eating.
- Perform light housekeeping, such as changing bed linens, laundry, cleaning, or preparing meals.
- Build relationships with patients through conversation and shared activities, and find stimulation to help keep them mentally healthy and alert.
- Monitor patients’ pulse, temperature, and respiration.
