About The Position
Nuclear Care Partners provides compassionate in-home care to individuals impacted by their work in Department of Energy or Nuclear Energy programs. The Certified Nursing Assistant provides consistent, one-on-one, relationship-based care in patients’ homes to support their quality of life. The role involves assisting with daily living needs, offering companionship and emotional support, supporting nutrition and light housekeeping, monitoring and reporting changes in condition, and documenting care according to EMR standards. This is a PRN position.
Requirements
- High school diploma or GED.
- Active CNA certification.
- CPR certification.
- Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.
- Ability to work independently in a non-facility setting.
Nice To Haves
- Home health, long-term care, or hospice experience.
Responsibilities
- Assist with activities of daily living, including bathing, dressing, grooming, toileting, and mobility.
- Provide companionship, emotional support, and social engagement.
- Support meal preparation and nutrition.
- Perform light housekeeping.
- Monitor and report changes in patients’ conditions.
- Follow care plans and document accurately using EMR standards.
