About The Position
San Luis Care Center, affiliated with Life Care Centers of America, is seeking a Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) to join its team in Alamosa, Colorado. The CNA provides routine daily nursing care to assigned patients in accordance with applicable laws, regulations, and Life Care standards. The role includes delivering direct care such as bathing, feeding, grooming, and toileting as directed. The CNA works as an important member of an interdisciplinary team to support quality patient care.
Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Graduate of a State-approved CNA program.
- Currently registered or licensed in the applicable State and maintain an active license in good standing throughout employment.
- CPR certification upon hire or obtained during orientation; certification must remain current during employment.
- Exhibit excellent customer service and a positive attitude toward patients.
Nice To Haves
- One year of skilled nursing experience preferred.
Responsibilities
- Provide routine daily nursing care to assigned patients in accordance with applicable laws, regulations, and Life Care standards.
- Deliver direct patient care, including bathing, feeding, grooming, and toileting, as directed.
- Make independent decisions when circumstances warrant action.
- Communicate and function productively on an interdisciplinary team.
- Maintain professional working relationships with associates, vendors, and others.
