About The Position

The Certified Nursing Assistant is specifically trained and competent to perform assigned personal-care functions for patients in their residences under the direction, instruction, and supervision of a registered nurse (RN). The role includes supporting patients during admissions, transfers, and discharges and checking routinely that their personal-care needs are being met in accordance with their wishes and care plans.

Requirements

• CNA license certification is required prior to hiring.
• Current CPR certification and fingerprint clearance card are required.

Nice To Haves

• At least six months of CNA/LNA experience is preferred.
• Recent Long-Term Care, Skilled Nursing Facility, or Transitional Rehab experience is preferred.
• LTC/SNF/Rehab experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assist guests/patients during admissions, transfers, and discharges.
• Check each guest/patient routinely to ensure personal-care needs are being met in accordance with their wishes and care plan.
• Review care plans daily to identify changes to guests’/patients’ daily care routines.
