CNA Part Time
About The Position
Johns Island Post Acute is hiring a part-time Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) for its 132-bed skilled nursing and rehabilitation facility in Johns Island, South Carolina. The CNA will help provide compassionate care to residents in a warm, family-like environment and contribute to positive relationships with residents, families, colleagues, and the community. The role includes assisting residents with activities of daily living, providing companionship and emotional support, recording vital signs, assisting with basic medical care, collaborating with nurses and other care staff, and maintaining a clean, safe, and respectful living environment. The schedule includes day shifts from 7 a.m. to 7 p.m. and night shifts from 7 p.m. to 7 a.m.; flexible hours, including weekends or holidays as needed, are required.
Requirements
- Current CNA certification in South Carolina.
- Passion for elder care.
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
- Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends or holidays as needed.
Responsibilities
- Assist residents with activities of daily living, including bathing, dressing, eating, and mobility.
- Provide residents with emotional support and companionship.
- Record vital signs and assist with basic medical care.
- Collaborate with nurses and other care staff to support resident outcomes.
- Maintain a clean, safe, and respectful living environment.
