About The Position
Scheurer – Harbor Beach is seeking part time Certified Nursing Assistants (CNA) to join our Lakeview Extended Care Team. This is a part-time position with 62 hours per pay period, working day shifts from 6:00 am to 2:00 pm.
Requirements
- Highschool diploma or GED Equivalent.
- State of Michigan Certification for Nursing Assistants.
- Current Basic Life Support (BLS) card.
Responsibilities
- Assisting in preparation of the unit, resident rooms, and beds for receiving resident admissions, returning surgical patients, transfer, emergencies or discharges. You’ll receive daily report on assigned residents.
- Assisting in and accompanying residents in admission, transfer and discharge procedures.
- Assisting in providing post-mortem care.
- Performing routine treatment procedures, including enemas, the application of heat and cold, and sitz baths, etc.
- Providing activities of daily living.
