About The Position

Encompass Health is hiring Nursing Assistants to provide compassionate, personalized support to patients during their rehabilitation. The role assists registered nurses with patient care and treatments, supports patients with daily personal activities, and helps guide them through their recovery. Nursing Assistants work with patients and their families to understand individual needs and contribute to a supportive rehabilitation environment. The posting lists full-time night shifts of 12 hours, rotating every other weekend, as well as PRN day shifts.

Requirements

• CPR certification is required.

Responsibilities

• Assist nurses with patients and treatments as needed.
• Help patients with daily personal activities, including bathing, dressing, grooming, and eating.
• Prepare and transport patients.
• Communicate patient concerns to nurses.
• Build relationships with patients and families and understand their needs to facilitate recovery.
• Celebrate patients' victories and milestones.
