About The Position

As a Nursing Assistant at Encompass Health, you provide compassionate, personalized support to patients as they progress through rehabilitation. You assist registered nurses with patient care and treatments, help patients with daily activities, and communicate concerns to nurses. You work collaboratively with a supportive care team, build relationships with patients and families, and help patients work toward their rehabilitation goals. Requirements

• CPR certification is required.

Responsibilities

• Assist nurses with patients and treatments as needed.
• Help patients with daily personal activities, including bathing, dressing, grooming, and eating.
• Prepare and transport patients.
• Communicate patient concerns to nurses.
• Build relationships with patients and their families and understand their individual needs to facilitate recovery.
• Celebrate patient victories and milestones.
