About The Position

Encompass Health is hiring a Nursing Assistant to provide compassionate, personalized support to patients during their rehabilitation journey and assist registered nurses. The role involves helping patients with daily personal activities and treatments, preparing and transporting patients, and communicating patient concerns to nurses. Nursing Assistants build relationships with patients and families, support patients’ recovery goals, and recognize their achievements. Requirements

• CPR certification is required.

Responsibilities

• Assist nurses with patients and treatments as needed.
• Help patients with daily personal activities, including bathing, dressing, grooming, and eating.
• Prepare and transport patients.
• Communicate patient concerns to nurses.
• Build relationships with patients and their families and understand their needs to facilitate recovery.
