About The Position

Join the Observation Unit team at UF Health Spanish Plaines Hospital, working alongside nurses and other clinical professionals to provide compassionate, hands-on support to patients throughout their care. Under the direction of the Director/Manager and Registered Nurses, the Nursing Assistant facilitates patient care by providing basic physical care and nursing procedures, assisting with patient comfort measures, and maintaining a clean, safe, and organized patient environment. The position is PRN and scheduled for nights.

Requirements

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required.
• Must be able to read, write, speak, and understand English.

Nice To Haves

• Post-high-school specialized training preferred.
• Florida Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) license preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide basic physical care and nursing procedures under the direction of the Director/Manager and Registered Nurses.
• Assist with patient comfort measures.
