CNA / Certified Nursing Assistant - Private Duty (Days)
About The Position
Adoration Private Duty is seeking a dedicated Certified Nursing Assistant to provide patient-centered, one-to-one care to an adult client in Granville, Tennessee. The office is located in Murfreesboro, Tennessee. The schedule is full-time, Monday through Friday, 7:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m. The CNA works under the supervision of a Registered Nurse and provides personal care and home-management support. Care may include hygiene and grooming, feeding, ambulation, medical monitoring, basic health-related tasks, housekeeping, and shopping. Documentation is completed using the HomeCare HomeBase EMR. Adoration Health provides services in patients’ homes and describes its environment as supportive, with opportunities to work independently while receiving team support. The role offers one-to-one care, flexible scheduling options, and less time on one’s feet compared with other settings. Adoration Health is an affiliate of BrightSpring Health Services.
Requirements
- Must be at least 18 years old.
- Valid driver's license and satisfactory driving record, as defined by agency policy.
- CNA or Home Health Care Aide certification if required by state licensure in the state where care is provided.
- Ability to use proper body mechanics while lifting; may be expected to lift up to 75 pounds.
- Ability to sit, stand, and walk for periods of time and bend, stoop, push, pull, and reach.
Responsibilities
- Provide patient-centered one-to-one care under the supervision of a Registered Nurse.
- Complete proper documentation using HomeCare HomeBase EMR.
- Assist clients with personal care or home-management tasks.
- Assist with basic personal hygiene and grooming, feeding, and ambulation.
- Provide medical monitoring and other basic health-care-related tasks.
- Perform basic housekeeping, shopping, and related home-management tasks.
