About The Position
Acts is seeking a Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) to work in its skilled nursing neighborhood. Under the supervision of licensed nursing staff, the CNA delivers compassionate, high-quality care to residents. The role provides direct, hands-on assistance with daily living activities while prioritizing residents’ safety, comfort, and dignity. The CNA monitors residents’ physical and emotional well-being and promptly reports changes to licensed nursing staff to support proactive, personalized care.
Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Current state certification as a Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA).
- Current CPR certification, or ability to obtain it within three months of employment.
Responsibilities
- Provide hands-on assistance with activities of daily living, including bathing, grooming, dressing, eating, toileting, and mobility.
- Prioritize residents’ safety, comfort, and dignity while providing care.
- Monitor residents’ physical and emotional well-being.
- Promptly report changes in residents’ condition to licensed nursing staff.
