About The Position

Signature HealthCARE of Carrollton Rehab & Wellness Center is a 78-bed facility offering services from short-term rehabilitation to traditional long-term care. The organization describes its mission as revolutionizing healthcare through resident-centered services, personalized spirituality, and quality-of-life initiatives. Its broader continuum of care includes skilled nursing, rehabilitation, assisted and memory care, and home-based services, supported by technologies such as telehealth and Care.ai-enabled solutions. The Certified Nursing Assistant performs direct resident care under the supervision of licensed nursing personnel, supporting residents’ physical and psychosocial well-being in accordance with facility policies, procedures, state regulations, and individual plans of care. The position offers 8-hour shifts from 3 PM to 11 PM, with rotating weekends. The stated pay is up to $24.40 per hour.

Requirements

Current, active Nursing Assistant certification from the state in which the facility operates.
Effective verbal and written communication skills.
Ability to work collaboratively within a nursing team and under the direction of licensed nursing staff.
Customer-service orientation and ability to work well under pressure.
Approachable, flexible, and adaptable to change.
Ability to function independently, with flexibility and personal integrity, and work effectively with stakeholders and vendors.

Responsibilities

Perform direct resident care under the supervision of licensed nursing personnel.
Help promote a compassionate physical and psychosocial environment for residents in accordance with facility policies and procedures.
Provide activities of daily living within the scope of practice defined by state regulation and each resident’s plan of care.
Change bed linen and maintain appropriate grooming supplies in resident rooms on a regular basis.
Ambulate and transfer residents using appropriate assistive devices and body mechanics.
Record resident vital signs, weights and measurements, intake and output, food consumption, and other assigned information.
Routinely turn and position residents as necessary.
Recognize and support resident rights and choices within the care environment.
Maintain established housekeeping standards in assigned duty areas.
Promptly answer call lights and assist with resident needs.
Assist with orientation and training of other staff, as requested.
Perform other special projects and duties as assigned.
